Libtro is a free Brazilian website for people who read on screens. It brings together in one place the tasks that usually require several programs: converting books between EPUB, PDF and DOCX, translating whole books, turning books into audio, recognizing the text of scanned PDFs and sending everything straight to the Kindle.
Why it exists
Reading on a Kindle or on a phone should be simple. In practice, the book arrives in the wrong format, in another language or too big to send. Libtro was created to solve this with a few taps, without installing anything and without requiring technical knowledge.
How we take care of your files
- Your files are private: only you can see your library.
- Results stay available for 7 days, and you can delete everything earlier, whenever you want.
- Site metrics count only operations (how many conversions, for example), never the content of books.
- Kindle app passwords are stored encrypted.

Libtro is a tool for your own files. Use only content you have the right to use, such as books you bought without DRM, your own documents or works in the public domain. We do not host or distribute protected works.

Libtro is free and may show ads to cover server costs. Account holders get access to every feature; those who just want to try it can use guest mode, with no sign-up and a small quota.
