Terms of Use
Updated on 26/10/2026. By creating an account or using Libtro, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Libtro converts, translates, narrates and sends EPUB, PDF and DOCX documents to Kindle. It is operated by oth0mx and offered free of charge, as is, without any guarantee of continuous availability.
2. Who may use it
The service is intended for people aged 18 or over. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you are over 18.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for the activity in your account.
- Provide truthful information. Nicknames may not impersonate other people or offend third parties.
- There are limits on storage, queue and file size, per account or role, to keep the service stable.
4. Your files
- Upload only content you have the right to use: your own work, works in the public domain, or works under a license that allows the operation. You are responsible for the content you upload.
- Libtro uses the files only to carry out what you asked and deletes them according to the deadlines in the Privacy Policy. Keep copies, since the results are temporary.
5. Prohibited conduct
It is forbidden to try to circumvent limits or authentication, overload the service, upload malicious files, use the service to violate copyright or other laws, harass people, or publish personal data of third parties in the Community.
6. Community and messages
Feedback and comments are public and may be moderated, hidden or removed by the team. Private messages from the team deal with service matters. Between users, a conversation only opens after the other person accepts a request; it is forbidden to send spam, threats, harassment or illegal content, and whoever does so may have their chat muted or their account closed. You can mute, delete, block and report at any time.
Book requests. Users with an account may ask the team for books. Requests must be for works in the public domain or under a license that allows distribution. Libtro does not distribute works protected by copyright and may decline any request. When the team finds a work that can be distributed, it may send the file straight to the library (My files) of the person who asked, who is notified on the site, by e-mail and through browser notifications, if enabled.
7. Moderation and termination
The team may limit features, suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk. You may request the deletion of your account at any time in Settings › Account.
8. Free of charge and refunds
Libtro is free of charge: there are no fees and, therefore, nothing to refund. If paid services ever exist, their conditions will be disclosed before purchase and the rights set out in the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor) will apply, including the right to withdraw within 7 days.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided without any guarantee of results, and the quality of automatic conversions, translations and voices varies. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect losses or unavailability. This does not affect the rights the law guarantees you, such as those under the Consumer Protection Code, where applicable, and under the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
10. Cookies and analytics
Libtro uses essential cookies (session, security and theme preference), which are required for the site to work, and displays ads from Google AdSense, which may use advertising cookies and help keep the service free. Traffic and performance analytics made by Cloudflare are aggregated and do not use cookies. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes, contact and venue
These terms may change, and the update date appears at the top. When there is a material change, you may be invited to accept the new version when you sign in to your account. Questions and requests: [email protected], with a reply within 72 hours. The courts of the City of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, are elected as the venue, without prejudice to the venue of the consumer's domicile when the law so determines.
