Data subject rights (LGPD)
Updated on 26/10/2026.
The LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law, Law No. 13,709/2018) guarantees you, among other rights: confirmation of the existence of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about the entities with which your data is shared, and withdrawal of consent.
How to exercise your rights
- Delete your account and data: sign in to your account and use Settings › Account › Delete account (you must confirm your password). You can follow the status of the request (requested, processing, completed or cancelled) and cancel it while it has not been completed.
- Access, correction, portability or questions: write to [email protected]. We reply within 72 hours. You can already correct part of your data in Profile and download part of it from My files.
- Withdraw consent: sound and system notices can be turned off in the notifications interface itself.
What happens when you delete your account
- Deleted: profile, email, photo, uploaded files and results, tasks, Kindle settings, sessions and private messages.
- Anonymized: public feedback and comments remain, but without your name ("Deleted account"). Usage metrics are kept only with an internal number that no longer corresponds to any account.
- Kept for the 6-month legal period: the record of the request itself (date and status) and minimal security and access records. After that, they are deleted. Details in the Privacy Policy.
- Administrative accounts and the owner's account are not deleted automatically: they require a separate and secure procedure.
If you prefer, you may also file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
